Her Livestream Confession

A Poem by Richard King Perkins ll

Call me Deranged,

an unpaid muse

or insipid mouse

but I could make a meal

of your left index finger.

After a month

of unarmed quilting,

my peculiar studio has become full-up

with anime girls

armed with skinny bodies

long blonde hair and watery blue eyes.

A nippy-knock wind

infiltrates my chest

with a guttural cough

and an icy tie's contusion.

I cover you in

clover and bits of incense

sperging about pink smocks

and the need for communion

picking my teeth clean

with a phalanx stripped bare.
